I have the best mother

Lemme start off saying I hate Valentine's Day, hate it.

My mom knows how much I hate it, and she did something yesterday that made me jump for joy.

My mother bought me Raging Bull on DVD for Valentine's Day.

Seriously, how awesome is that?

She made a shitty holiday awesome.

Anyone else have great mothers?

Mine's alright.

February of last year I had tickets to see Old Crow Medicine show in Johnson City. My girlfriends brother was killed at the end of January and she didn't feel like going to a concert a few days later so I took my mom. We had a good time.

I am pretty partial to my Mom as well. I consider myself a Momma's Boy. My mother had two kids by the age of 17 and dropped out of high school in 9th grade. My father died when I was 5 and my sister was 7 and she raised two youngin's by herself while getting her GED, working 2 jobs, and going back to school to become a nurse. Not bragging but both kids grew up and have had pretty successful lives as of now.

I am thankful to my mother everyday for what she did for us. Did we struggle, absolutely, but it made us better people and we did it the right way.

My mom is awesome too. I don't know what i would do without her. She's a single mom that's raised me and my sister by herself since i was 3. I couldn't ask for any better.

I cant complain at all. She has her own business and was always great to me. Heck, shes a good reason I have such a competitive spirit. She coached 2 LL basketball teams at a time while I was in middle school including our boys team. Nothing was funnier than seeing us beat some team that was about even to us and having some guy feel like he was outcoached by a woman.

Once of the funniest was a guy who coached at Pennington one time. My 6th grade year, we had played them twice and lost by 1 both times. Played them in a tourney and came from 6 or so down in the last minute and a half to win, by changing to a press defense. While shaking hands, he told Mom they gave that game away in a real smartarse tone, and she replied, "Nope, you just got outcoached." The look on his face was priceless.

my moms not a sports-person per se, she coached a youth girls church b-ball team,well she was the head coach and did the prayer stuff, but i did the coaching

nobody can get between a boy and his mother, its a special relationship that girls dont understand.

im way closer to my mom than my dad,even though dad and I share tons of interests like college football (he is a huge GT/FSU fan, and im die hard SEC lol) and playing cards

this reminds me, i need to pay some visits to some of your family, its been a while.
